Project Grants
The Project Grants Scheme is the NHMRCs main avenue of support for individuals
and small teams of researchers undertaking biomedical, public health and health
services research in Australian universities, medical schools, hospitals and other
research institutions.

- All new applications must include a unique NHMRC ID Number.
- For University of Adelaide staff please contact Research Branch to obtain your
ID number, telephone 8303 5137, raohealth@adelaide.edu.au
- Clinical & Affiliate Title Holders (CATHs) should contact their Institution's
Research Secretariat for an ID number.
- Full applications from University of Adelaide staff to be submitted to Research
Branch by the internal closing date:
- Your application submitted electronically to grantnet@adelaide.edu.au
- pdf file (named eg:- 123456_Smith.pdf) submitted to grantnet@adelaide.edu.au
- pdf file in relation to grants by other funding bodies being applied for through NHMRC Projects
- 1 complete original hard copy delivered to Research Branch, Level 7, 115
Grenfell Street with a signed application
coversheet.
- Full applications from Clinical & Affiliate Title Holders (CATHs) should
be submitted through their Institution's Research Secretariat.
