Translating Research into Practice (TRIP) Fellowships
The NHMRC Translating Research into Practice (TRIP) Fellowship Scheme aims to train health care professionals who will bring about practical changes and make a real difference to health outcomes. All TRIP Fellowship projects are characterised by matching an area of need with the Fellow’s ability to achieve success.
A series of question and answer teleconferences will be held for prospective applicants during February and March. Please visit the NHMRC website for details on how to register

Important note There has been a change to the NHMRC’S TRIP Fellowship application guidelines. References no longer need to be counted within the five-page limit for the Implementation Research Proposal. Applicants will be able to include all relevant references in the document outside this page limit. The process for the submission of referee reports for TRIP Fellowships has been finalised in RGMS. Applicants are now able to provide details of referees in RGMS, and referees are able to upload their referee reports to RGMS. Applicants should refer to the revised TRIP Fellowships Advice and Instructions to Applicants (17 March update) for details, which is
available at http://www.nhmrc.gov.au/grants/apply/career/index.htm.

Please note a recent change to the ARC Future Fellowships Funding Rules which states that “during the 2011 calendar year, researchers cannot apply for a Fellowship on a NHMRC Proposal and a Future Fellowship Proposal.” (see subsection 9.3.2 of the ARC Future Fellowships Funding Rules for Funding commencing in 2011 document). |
