Grains Research & Development Corporation (GRDC)
A leading grains research organisation who’s mission is to invest in research and development for the greatest benefit to graingrowers. The GRDC’s research portfolio covers 25 leviable crops spanning temperature and tropical cereals, oilseeds and pulses. Please see GRDC’s Strategic REsearch & Development Plan 2012-17.
Grape and Wine Research & Development Corporation (GWRDC)
GWRDC supports the development of the Australian Grape and Wine industry by planning and funding collective research and development programs and then facilitating the dissemination, adoption and commercialisation of the results throughout the industry. Please see GWRDC's five year R&D plan 2012-17
Rural Industries Research & Development Corporation (RIRDC)
Works closely with Australian rural industries on the organisation and funding of their R & D needs. RIRDC manages and funds priority research and translates the results into practical outcomes for industry development. Please see the RIRDC's R&D Corporation Corporate Plan 2012-17
Horticulture Australia Limited (HAL)
HAL is a national research, development and marketing organisation that invests in programs to provide benefit to Australian horticulture industries. Projects cover a diversity of topics including plant health, pesticide regulation, agronomy, crop regulation and more. Please see their current priorities.
Cotton Research & Development Corporation (CRDC)
CRDC provides leadership and investment in research, innovation, knowledge creation and transfer. CRDC invests in research, development and extension of knowledge from projects within six programs which are aimed at enhancing the environmental, economic and social performance of the Australian cotton industry. Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR)
ACIAR is an Australian Government statutory authority that operates as part of Australia's Aid Program within the portfolio of Foreign Affairs and Trade. It contributes to the aid program objectives of advancing Australia's national interest through poverty reduction and sustainable development. Please see their current research programs.
Fisheries Research & Development Corporation (FRDC)
The FRDC plans, invests in and manages fisheries research and development throughout Australia. It is a statutory authority within the portfolio of the federal Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, jointly funded by the Australian Government and the fishing industry. The FRDC's mission is to increase economic and social benefits for the fishing industry and the people of Australia, through planned investment in research and development, in an ecologically sustainable framework. Australian Biological Resources Study (ABRS)
The ABRS is a Program within Parks Australia Division of the Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts. The Aim of ABRS is to provide, through strategic partnerships, the underlying taxonomic knowledge necessary for the conservation and sustainable use of Australia’s biodiversity. Dairy Australia
The vision of Dairy Australia is to deliver the world’s best services towards achieving the industry’s vision of growing an internationally, competitive and sustainable dairy industry.
