Funding Opportunities for RCRH Members
Travel Support 2011
The Research Centre for Reproductive Health is providing financial support for students (HDR) and academic staff (who have a PhD and are at or below Level C) to further their research career by attending and presenting at national and international conferences. There will be two rounds of travel grants awarded in 2011. The first round of funding is for presentation at a conference such that registration for the conference falls between the period of 1 January and 30 June 2011. In the second round (call for EoI will be early June 2011) registration for the conference falls between the period of 1 July and 31 December 2011.
An Expression of Interest form from student and researchers of RCRH proposing to attend and present at a conference in the first half of 2011 is requested to be lodged with the Project Officer by COB Wednesday 23 March 2011.

RCRH will support NHMRC Equipment Grant 2010 applications submitted to the University of Adelaide Research Branch.
Full Members-Research Program Leaders of RCRH are requested to submit an Expression of Interest for NHMRC Equipment Grant Support from RCRH.
Support from RCRH will range up to 30% of full cost, or the difference between full cost and funds secured from NHMRC and Faculty of Health Sciences combined, whichever is the lesser amount (expect 50% support from NHMRC, and 20%-25% from FHS).

Equipment and Infrastructure Support 2010

Skills Competency Training Support 2010
Awardee for 2010
Dr David Sharkey was awared $7,500 to attend the training offered at the laboratory of Professor Alison Quayle, at Louisiana State University, New Orleans, USA from 27 December 2010 until 21 February 2011.
RCRH will be allocating funds to Full Members-Research Program Leaders for the purpose of updating/refreshing/improving the technical and theoretical knowledge of their research staff in current core research skills, or for their research staff to learn new research skills that can be applied to the targeted research areas of the Centre and be of benefit to all members.
Funds requested would be to help cover costs of travel, accommodation and/or course costs (if applicable).
