Professor Robert Norman
MD, FRANZCOG, FRCPA, FRCOG, CREI
Professor Rob Norman is Director of the Research Centre for Reproductive Health in the University of Adelaide. He is a sub-specialist in reproductive endocrinology and fertility, a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Pathologists. He is the Chief Investigator on a NHMRC Program Grant entitled 'Periconceptual foundations for a healthy start to life'.
He has published extensively in the areas of reproductive medicine including:
- Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
- Assisted Reproductive Technology
- Ovarian Function
- Human chorionic gonadotrophin
- Role of cytokines in reproduction
His research work is clinical and basic science in background. He is a member of :
- European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology
- Fertility Society of Australia
- US Endocrine Society
- Australian Endocrine Society
- Australasian Menopause Society
- Society for Reproductive Biology.
He has been a member of a number of NHMRC committees and is currently Convenor of the School of Paediatrics & Reproductive Health Research Executive Committee.
