University Archives, Records & Collections aims to provide a reliable system of management processes from the time of record creation through to the preservation of archival records and the authorised disposal of temporary value records.
University Archives, Records & Collections is comprised of the TRIM Team, Records Management Office (RMO), the University Archives and Art & Heritage Collections.
TRIM is the University's compliant EDRMS (Electronic Document and Recordkeeping Management System) used to manage both electronic and hardcopy records.
The RMO is responsible for the central management of the University's records. It creates electronic and hardcopy files in TRIM for use by faculties, schools and business units across the University.
The University Archives preserves the rich history of South Australia's foremost educational institution. The Archives contains the non-current administrative records of the University that are worthy of permanent preservation. There are also records from student clubs and societies and related institutions including Roseworthy Agricultural College, Waite Agricultural Research Institute, Adelaide Teachers College and the South Australian College of Advanced Education.
Art & Heritage Collections are entrusted with the preservation and promotion of the art and cultural heritage of the University and through collections, projects and activities to interpret its academic disciplines to the broader community.
