University Archives, Records & Collections (UniARC)
UniARC leads the management of the University of Adelaide's information and collection assets through excellence in service delivery, innovation and championing best practice, as well as by developing, supporting and enriching activities of the University comprising of students, staff and alumni as well as the broader local and international community.
UniARC is comprised of the TRIM Team, Records Services - incorporating the Records Management Office (RMO), the University Archives and Art & Heritage Collections.
TRIM is the University's compliant EDRMS (Electronic Document and Recordkeeping Management System) used to manage both electronic and hardcopy records.
Records Services is responsible for the central management of the University's official records and provides support to all areas of the University in fulfilling their responsibilities from records creation to disposal.
The RMO creates electronic and hardcopy files in TRIM for use by faculties, schools and business units across the University, as well as servicing the recordkeeping requirements of the University's executive management.
The University Archives contains the non-current administrative records of the University that require premanent preservation, and provides access to the wealth of archival resources which safeguard the rich history of South Australia's foremost educational institution along with its past and present affiliated organisations.
Art & Heritage Collections are entrusted with the preservation and promotion of the art and cultural heritage of the University and through collections, projects and activities to interpret its academic disciplines to the broader community.
