The first meeting of the Committee was held on 18 January 1945. The minutes consist of typed pages and the issues discussed are the appointment of staff, results of examinations, revision of courses, attendance of optometry students at the eye clinic to gain practical experience, appeals from students in regards to not granting them supplementary examinations, extensions of courses and the establishment of a diploma.
