The records consist of receipts and expenditure, rules of the Association, newspaper cuttings and lists of scholarship winners. There is also correspondence relating to the Florence Cooke Prize for Violin 1953-60 which forms an enclosure to this series. The Association was disbanded at the meeting of 21 April 1960 as a result of poor attendances and lack of interest. Responsibility for administration of the Florence Cooke Prize was taken over by the University. One volume of minutes is missing.
