The records consist of signed minutes of the University Concert Hall Feasibility Study Group which was formed by Council to deliberate on the possible renovation or demolition of Elder Hall and the construction of a Concert Hall to mark the University's centenary in 1974. It was chaired by Deputy Vice-Chancellor N T Flentje. The group prepared a brief that was presented to Council on 20 December 1972 (copy contained in Series 322).
