The Executive Committee replaced the Standing Sub-Committees of the Education Committee. It acted as the executive committee of the Education Committee with regard to academic matters from faculties and boards, resource allocation, and all necessary co-ordination between the Education Committee and any other committees or bodies whose business may from time to time concern the Education Committee. The records include papers of the Executive Committee Chairman regarding the activities of the Executive Committee, Sub-Committee Meetings and working parties. There are indexes to committee reports for years 1981, 1987-1991.
