Description	The University's Superannuation Scheme A 1985 was effective from 1 July 1986 when the previous Scheme A and Scheme A 81 ceased and current members became members of Scheme A 1985. All the schemes were administered internally until 1 July 1994 when William Mercer Pty. Ltd. was appointed Administrator. Effective 5 June 2006, the trustee, The University of Adelaide Superannuation Scheme A 1985 Inc. was replaced by Tidswell Financial Services Ltd. In addition, Mercer Human Resource Consulting Pty Ltd (formerly William M Mercer Pty Ltd) ceased to be the Scheme's administrator and this role was also assumed by Tidswell Financial Services Ltd. The records consist of the permanent files compiled by the University's Records Management Office that contain the committee's minutes, agendas and other related papers. These years are also represented by files originally held by Administrator/Secretary Geoff Purdie, including bound copies of minutes and agendas for the period 1995-1998. There are also files kept by the General Manager, Human Resources and records relating to Supreme Court action between the Scheme and P. Burke.
