Medal: gold? bearing the inscription 'Agricultural College, South Australia, Angas Award, J. Marshall, 1889' surrounded by wreath of wheat. Obverse has a relief image of an English rural scene, cottage, haystacks, livestock and farming equiment. Jeweller\x92s edge markings: include 'H. Steiner, 18.C Adelaide'. Diameter: 0.05m Diploma of Agriculture 1889 awarded to John Marshall. Diploma is printed on heavy paper with a gold border and handwritten student name and subjects. It has been signed by examiners, College principal, Governor and Commander in Chief, and the Commissioner of Crown Lands. Rolled in metal tube 0.52m in length.
