The Academic Staff Association was constituted under the Rules of the Industrial and Conciliation Act 1972 and was affiliated with the Council of Academic Staff Associations of SA Colleges of Advanced Education and the Federation of Staff Associations of Australian Colleges of Advanced Education. The records include minutes of meetings and other correspondence and reports. There is also a copy of the Constitution of the Adelaide Teachers College Academic Staff Association.
