| Description | The committee was responsible for enabling members of the academic staff to carry out their duties more effectively by observing and studying new developments in related academic fields or for other purposes approved by Council. These included industry experience, professional observation and discussion, applied research and development, or a combination of these. The committee was replaced in 1985 by the Staff Development Committee. The records consist of the minutes and papers of the committee's meetings. |
