| Description | This series consists of records of the Architecture Students' Association and of the Alumni Association Architecture Chapter. Records of the Architecture Students' Association include the minutes of the Association from its inauguration in 1994. They also include a copy of the association's constitution, a 1997 committee report, funding submission forms, newsletters, student welcome leaflets, copies of a University Union newsletter "Non Dit", correspondence with the Union president regarding use of Union facilities and information on the ASA Student WorkForce.
The folder of records relating to the University Union documents the involvement of Tim Simpson and others, on behalf of the ASA, in the Union crisis of the mid 1990s. Records of the Alumni Association Architecture Chapter include minutes and agendas from 2002-2003, as well as committee contact lists and records of functions held. This item consists of the transcript of an interview of SAUA President Kym Taylor by Tim Simpson and Chris O'Brien in September 1996, and a series of articles and letters on the topic of the Adelaide University Union crisis which occurred during the mid-1990s. The ASA threatened to disaffiliate from the Union in 1997, but it is not clear from the records whether this ultimately happened.
