Description

This series consists of records of the University of Adelaide Foundation. The Foundation, initially proposed to Council by then Vice-Chancellor Donald Stranks, was established in 1980 to act as a fundraising body and to use the proceeds to support projects enriching the intellectual and cultural life of the University, such as a lecture series and artist-in-residence programs. The records comprise miscellaneous publications including copies of the Foundation's newsletter Aegis, progress reports on projects funded by the Foundation, and various administrative files containing correspondence, minutes, agendas and grant applications. There is also a set of coloured postcards produced by the Foundation depicting views of University buildings and grounds, including Waite Campus.
