| Description | In 1988 the University requested an independent review of the Waite Agricultural Research Institute. The Australian Research Council commissioned Dr JR McWilliam to conduct the review. The McWilliam Report, containing 13 recommendations, was submitted to the ARC in March 1990 and the University received it in June. The records consist of University papers relating to the conduct of the review, primarily working papers, internal correspondence, submissions to the Review, correspondence with Dr McWilliam, reports and other associated documentation. Also included is a copy of Commissioned Report No. 3 of the Review. In its early days, the review was sometimes also referred to within the University as the Review of Governance. |
