| Description | The Waite Institute Advisory Board was established on the 1st of January 1981, through the actions of the Implementation Committee resulting from the Mitchell Report. The Board was answerable to the University Council and its main responsibility was to represent the Waite Institute's interests to that body. The Board consisted of a chairman not employed by the University, the VC ex officio, the Director of the Waite Institute ex officio, two members of the tenured academic staff of the Waite, one member of the University's academic staff, three members external to the University, one Waite postgraduate and one Waite undergraduate student. The records include minutes, correspondence and working papers of the committee. There is also one bound volumes of minutes and related papers for 1988-1990. |
