The records consist of the official, mostly signed minutes of the committee from its first meeting on 5 July 1958 chaired by Professor T.D. Campbell. At that time. the aims of the committee included: - to tie together study groups, ADA and other activities - to prevent overlapping of activities - co-operation between groups and the University on bringing in interstate lecturers. Other papers include discussion on the need for the committee, statement of financial requirements, 1970-72 and 1976-78 triennium submissions and dentistry statistics.
