The Union was formed in 1948 for the purpose of expressing the views of the Liberal Union of the University of Adelaide, of stimulating interest in public affairs within the University and of educating members to become politically well-informed and active in the community through addresses, discussions and debates. The series consists of the official signed minutes of the Union.
