| Description | South Australian Foundation for Dental Education & Research (SAFDER) was established in 1990 with the aim to provide a secure financial base for dental education and research at
Adelaide\x92s Dental School. Funds raised by SAFDER are committed to help support summer scholarships, the Asia Pacific Dental Students Association, staff development awards, the Chair of Orthodontics and the Colgate Australian Clinical Dental Research Centre which
was established in 1998. Former Chancellor Bill Scammell was the patron of SAFDER for many years. The series includes records relating to committee meetings, fundraising activities, newsletters, publications and the establishment of the Colgate Australia Clinical Dental Research Centre. |
