The Careers Advisory Board was established in 1975 to replace the Appointments Board which was a committee of Council with the aims of providing an advisory service for students, liaising between employers and the University, providing facilities for communications and interviews, to help undergraduates secure vacation employment and to carry out research necessary to support its activities. This series contains the official minutes, agendas and related papers from the Career Advisory Board Meetings, copies of the boards Annual Reports, in draft and final form and 'Options: A Career Advisory Board Newsletter'.
