Finance Committee shall review and make recommendations to Council on:
a. Financial Policies - policies for the University and its subsidiaries with respect to the control and management of recurrent financial resources, the ownership, management and divestment of assets, including properties, investments, borrowings and management of funds.
b. Budgeting Process- the resources available to the University to achieve its goals as put forward in the Annual Budget of the University and its subsidiaries.
c. Financial Performance - regular management reports to Council on the financial performance of the University and its subsidiaries against the approved financial targets.
d. Financial Reporting - the Annual Financial Statements of the University, and in conjunction with the Audit Committee, recommend to Council the adoption of those statements.
e. Commercial Activities - the commercial activities of the University and its subsidiaries.
