As we have been honored with the appointment of Solicitors to the University of Adelaide, we shall be glad if you will have the appointment made out under the seal of that body - as you are aware the University being a Corporation can only legally appoint under the official seal.
We think it well to point out to you that the legal estate or interest in the contributions covenanted to be given by W. W. Hughes & the Hon. T Elder are now rested in the Hon. A. Hay - as Treasurer of the University Association - Under the 1st section of Act No 20 of 1874, being the "Adelaide University Act" we apprehend

this should be rested in "The University of Adelaide" - perhaps you will be good enough to bring this before your Council.
