AdTAT - the Adelaide Text Analysis Tool

We are pleased to provide - as a free download - build 1.5 of our exciting new concordancing tool.

Versions are available for both Windows and Mac. Download the version suitable for your operating system, then unzip and run the installer. **

AdTAT is a self-contained application that does not need to be installed in your Programs or Applications folder. You can put it anywhere that is convenient for you. It will even run from a USB stick.

See the Help menu within the application for guidance on set up and use.

While we have done extensive testing, please note that you run this application at your own risk.

     Download Mac version

     Download Windows version **

** For Windows 7 systems, right click the unzipped installer and select "Run as Administrator".
** For all other systems, simply run the installer as normal.

Technical support?
We will work to resolve notified bugs, but we are not otherwise providing technical support. However, please email us any comments, ideas, feedback, frustrations, praise etc. that you have for us

Concordancing & Corpora support?
There is a help available from within the application. We also find the WriteResearch site very useful; in addition to general help on concordancing, the site has a link to a corpus of 23 articles from the New Phytologist journal (prepared and made available with the kind permission of the Journal).

University of Adelaide personnel
University of Adelaide students and staff can also access a range of Science corpora through this link to MyUni. Or else find the corpora manually in the Researcher Education & Development section of the Writing & Speaking at Uni course. UoA ID and password are required for this.
