Animal Ethics Online Assessment
The Animal Ethics Online Assessment is a quiz is for students and staff who have either:
- Attended the on-campus Animal Ethics Induction Course
- Viewed/read the content available from the Animal Ethics Online Induction Course
Note
- You can take this assessment a maximum of 3 times.
- On successful completion (80% or greater) a link will appear below for you to download your certificate and you will be eligible to request approval from the Animal Ethics Committee.
- After 3 unsuccessful attempts you will no longer be able to access the quiz and will need to contact the Animal Welfare Officer (see Contacts section of this course)
- HDR students whose work will involve animals are required to complete the assessment and provide their certificate to the Graduate Centre on submitting their Core Component of the Structured Program documentation
How to take the assessment
- Login to MyUni
- Click on click on the course "AU_DVCR_ANIML_0001 - Animal Ethics and Welfare Introduction" (see screenshot)
Students enrolled in the Faculty of Sciences and the Faculty of Health Sciences are automatically enrolled in this course. If you are not enrolled and cannot see this course, please contact Helen Malby who will enrol you manually. - Click on "Assessment" and follow the instructions.
When you have sucessfully completed the Assessment (answered more than 40 questions correctly) you will return to the "Assessment" page and see the "Congratulations, you have completed the course!" message (see screenshot). You can then download your personalised certificate to include in your core components documentation.
If you unsucessfully attempt the Assessment 3 times you will no longer able to access the quiz and you must contact Denise Noonan.
