Future Research Leaders Program 2012

The 2012 workshop schedule for the Future Research Leaders Program is provided below. The program is only offered in the first semester this year, due to key staff being away on study leave in the second semester, but will be offered as usual in both semesters in 2013. 

Please click the links to enrol for the workshops of your choice. The workshops pivot around online material which you should review in advance. You will be given access / log-in details for the online material shortly after completing your enrolment.

Research Strategy & Planning
FRLP Module 1 
Effective research must be carefully planned to achieve the best outcomes. This module explores the links between your university's overall research strategy, your own research, the scoping and conceptualising of the project prior to the research commencing and research project management.

FRLP Module 2

This module explores the start up of a research project, giving you the opportunity to put your ideas into practice. It aims to illustrate approaches that can be applied to projects regardless of discipline or scope.

Project Close Out
FRLP Module 8

A good project close out and review process is dependent on having had good processes for setting goals, priorities, project definitions, scope, schedules and budgets as well as having effective controls for monitoring and tracking changes during the life of the project.

FRLP Module 5
