An expectations questionaire can be a useful means of seeing what level of agreement or difference there might be between your understandings of how the research degree program will unfold and the understandings of your students. So please see this pdf version of such a questionaire developed for use at the University of Adelaide, together with instructions for use. Developed by Dr Marilyn Clarke (Business School) for the 2009 Exploring Supervision Program, the Self Evaluation & Assessment form has been designed to help students think about their needs and skills, and to assist supervisors in assessing progres and identifying areas where support is needed.

We have posted onto MyUni pdf files of slide presentations & handouts from the three Exploring Supervsion Program workshops. To access these, log into MyUni, locate & open the Writing & Speaking at Uni course, click the Researcher Education & Development link in the left hand navigation panel, and scroll down as necessary on the page that opens up until you find the Exploring Supervision Program folder. Or simply follow this link (logging into MyUni when requested). This will only work if you have University of Adelaide log-in privileges.
