Welcome to ORBIT

The Operational Research Business Information Tool (ORBIT) is a web-based system that provides users with a detailed view of the research activities of the University.  It is designed to aggregate research information, by drawing together information from multiple sources and to enhance management and reporting capabilities for the wider research portfolio.

Student Profiles Module

The students profiles module delivers a range of operational and statistical reports on HDR students. Further information may be viewed on the Graduate Centre website.

Project Reporting Module

The project reporting module allows for operational financial management of research projects. Base data is drawn from finance, ResearchMaster and HR systems, with additional data being entered into ORBIT by appropriately authorised users.
