Research Services

Adelaide Graduate Centre

The Adelaide Graduate Centre is responsible for postgraduate administration and quality assurance, including ensuring that research students have the highest quality of supervision and have opportunities for professional development. The Graduate Centre also administers postgraduate scholarships.

Adelaide Microscopy

Adelaide Microscopy is a centrally located facility and consulting service, which offers a broad range of the most technologically advanced instrumentation for micrscopy and microanalysis. Their scientific support services are available to universities, other research institutions and the corporate sector.

Adelaide Research & Innovation Pty Ltd (ARI)

Adelaide Research & Innovation is South Australia's premier commercial research hub, facilitating access to the research and expertise of the University's talented researchers. They manage the University's commercial research and consultancy partnerships, form new business ventures based on University expertise and develop the University's innovative ideas and technologies with commercial potential.

Laboratory Animal Services

The Laboratory Animal Services unit supports the biomedical research community through the delivery of best practice and world standard laboratory animal products and services.

Office of Community Engagement

The Community Engagement team works closely with all spheres of government, industry and local communities to ensure that the University's achievements have the widest possible impact, socially useful outcomes and continuing engagement on issues of mutual concern and significance.

Research Branch

The Research Branch supports the University's research endeavour and performance by providing services to the University's research community in relation to external competitive research grants and postdoctoral fellowships, pre- and post- award. The Branch oversees the HERDC research publications data collection on behalf of the University and supports research compliance related activities including Human Research Ethics, Animal Ethics, Gene Technology regulation (Institutional Biosafety Committee) and Quarantine. The Research Branch also provides administrative support for the University Research Committee and advice on relevant University research policies.
