Marketing & Public Relations Manager

View Position Description

We have a vacancy for a Marketing and Public Relations Manager, who will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing, public relations and communications strategies and activities of the Robinson Institute.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Institute Manager, Director and management team of the Institute in building internal and external relationships through effective promotion of research activity to external stakeholders.

In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing on suitable marketing strategies, including the planning and coordination of publications, media relations, annual reports and events.

This fixed-term position is available immediately for a period of 12 months in the first instance.

Salary: (HEO7) $68,584 - $76,943 per
annum, plus an employer superannuation
contribution of 9% applies.

PhD Study Opportunities - Pregnancy & Development

The Pregnancy and Development Research Group is seeking outstanding and highly motivated PhD students who are interested in investigating how prenatal factors influence fetal growth and development, and pre-dispose towards adverse neonatal and childhood health outcomes. The successful applicant will conduct research investigating placental mechanisms that contribute to these adverse early life health outcomes.

Applicants should have an undergraduate Honours or Masters degree in a relevant discipline, with a strong record of academic achievement. Experience working in a wet-laboratory is desirable.


Funding for a three-year stipend is available for Australian citizens or permanent residents. International students would need to obtain independent financial support to cover international tuition fees. A financial contribution towards moving costs may be negotiated if required.
