Fundraising Manager - Robinson Institute

With an international reputation for quality research and training, the institute exists to facilitate substantial improvements in fertility, conception, early development and regenerative medicine, in the community and across the world.
We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Manager to drive our philanthropic fundraising activities. Working in our development team, you will be responsible for realising fundraising targets and engaging the wider community in our research programs. Your success will be dependent on your ability to build excellent relationships with individuals and companies locally and nationally.
Possessing excellent interpersonal skills, you will have a strong track record of fostering relationships and negotiating partnerships. You will have an excellent understanding of fundraising principles and an enthusiasm for our areas of research.
Position Requirements
You should have:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement fundraising strategies
- Experience in the development and presentation of tailored proposals
- Demonstrated organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage work efficiently and accurately
- Tertiary qualifications with subsequent relevant experience; and/or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Salary
Salary: (HEO7) $68,584 - $76,943 per annum.
Superannuation
Plus an employer superannuation contribution of 9% applies
Term of Position
This fixed-term position is available immediately for a period of twelve months.

PhD Study Opportunities - Pregnancy & Development
The Pregnancy and Development Research Group is seeking outstanding and highly motivated PhD students who are interested in investigating how prenatal factors influence fetal growth and development, and pre-dispose towards adverse neonatal and childhood health outcomes. The successful applicant will conduct research investigating placental mechanisms that contribute to these adverse early life health outcomes.
Applicants should have an undergraduate Honours or Masters degree in a relevant discipline, with a strong record of academic achievement. Experience working in a wet-laboratory is desirable.
Funding for a
three-year stipend is available for Australian citizens or permanent
residents. International students would need to obtain independent
financial support to cover international tuition fees. A financial
contribution towards moving costs may be negotiated if required.
