Cerebral Palsy
Cerebral Palsy is a condition that affects more than 30,000 people in Australia.
Matthew is one of those Australians born with CP, a condition which affects the neuro-motor region of the brain at birth, resulting in poor muscle co-ordination and even quadriplegia.
The Robinson Institute is conducting the world's largest genetic study into the causes of cerebral palsy with the hope of one day being able to prevent this disease.
Thank you to the Reinertsen family for sharing their story.
