Facet D
Students organise information collected/generated.
In Facet D of the framework, students organise information they have collected and/or generated. They may do this by using a prescribed structure and procedure set by a lecturer or tutor, a self-determined structure and process, or a negotiated combination of the two.
For students working at the lower levels, this may mean organising data they have gathered according to a relatively simple structure and process, usually one prescribed by the lecturer or tutor, or by choosing one of a few recommended, familiar structures and/or processes. At the higher levels (IV and V), students generate their own structures and processes to organise their information, based on experience and their familiarity with the protocols and conventions of their discipline.
