New to Pyrosequencing

Pyrosequencing technology is an established genetic analysis method based on the principle of sequencing by synthesis. It is the only genetic analysis method capable of delivering real sequence information within minutes. The SA Epigenetics Facility has recently acquired a PyroMark MD pyrosequencer (Biotage, Sweden). With a capability of genotyping with high sensitivity virtually any mutation or SNP, easily resolving contiguous mutations and quantitatively measuring SNP alleles and DNA methylation, the PyroMark MD pyrosequencer is ideal for researchers demanding fast, accurate results with minimal reagent consumption.
