The Scholarships Office manages the University’s centrally administered domestic undergraduate and honours scholarships. These include the University’s own scholarship schemes, the Commonwealth Learning Scholarships provided by the Australian Government and others provided by government, industry and not-for-profit organisations.

Scholarships information and advice
The University’s scholarships website is the gateway for information about University administered scholarship programs and other scholarships offered by government, industry and not-for-profit organisations. All available scholarships are listed with respective open and close dates.

Establishment of new University scholarships
For scholarships provided by the University (or affiliated organisations) please complete the 'Proposal to Establish a New Scholarship' form and forward to the Scholarships Office. New scholarships from external donors are managed by the Development and Alumni Office.

Selection and monitoring of scholarship holders
Scholarships are offered to undergraduate students with outstanding academic results as well as students who may have particular difficulties in attending University, such as due to financial need, and students from rural and remote areas of Australia.
The Scholarships Office
- coordinates the application, ranking, selection, offer and monitoring processes for centrally administered scholarships
- monitors scholarship holder compliance with ongoing scholarship conditions
- reports to external scholarship providers
