The University of Adelaide Honours Scholarships

The University of Adelaide is providing up to ten scholarships to support students to undertake an Honours program at the University of Adelaide.

The scholarships are available to Australian citizens or permanent residents who are commencing an Honours program at the University of Adelaide on a full time basis as a Commonwealth Supported student, and who are able to demonstrate financial need.  The scholarships will provide an allowance of $5,000 for one year to assist with education and living costs. 

Applicants need to provide supporting documentary evidence of their financial circumstances at the time of applying e.g. details of income tested Commonwealth income support payment such as Youth Allowance, Austudy, ABSTUDY benefits.

The successful applicants will be selected based on academic merit.   Academic merit will be determined by students’ cumulative Grade Point Averages (GPAs) for their undergraduate degree.

Two scholarships will be awarded to students from each of the five Faculties.  Students must demonstrate financial need to be eligible.  After eligibility has been determined, the two students with the highest GPA from each faculty will be offered the scholarships.
