ConocoPhillips SPIRIT Scholarship

This Scholarship is for students who will be enrolled full time in a Bachelor of Science (Honours) (Petroleum Geology & Geophysics); or Master of Science (Petroleum Geology and Geophysics); or Master of Science (Petroleum Geoscience) courses with the Australian School of Petroleum at The University of Adelaide for the 2012 academic year.

This scholarship offers:

0. A cash payment of $6,500 paid in two equal instalments after the census date in each semester, for one year or the remainder of their course, whichever comes first;
0. An amount of up to $1,500 for professional development. Professional development refers to opportunities such a field trip, a seminar, costs relating to work experience or some other development opportunity which may be proposed by the scholarship recipient and approved by ConocoPhillips; and
0. The opportunity for vacation employment during the 2011/2012 university summer break. If vacation employment is offered, a placement of up to 12 weeks will commence from the end of November/early December 2011.
