Department of Further Education, Employment, Science and Technology (DFEEST) Defence Scholarships 2012
The Defence scholarships have been designed to ensure the long-term supply of quality skills and a vibrant workforce to meet the needs of the defence industry in South Australia.
Scholarships are available to students who are Australian citizens and who are undertaking an Honours degree or degree with Honours at the University of Adelaide in the following programs:
Engineering
Bachelor of Engineering
Bachelor of Engineering (Automotive Engineering)
Bachelor of Engineering (Avionics and Electronic Systems Engineering)
Bachelor of Engineering (Computational)
Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Systems)
Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical & Electronic)
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical and Aerospace)
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical and Automotive)
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronic)
Bachelor of Engineering (Software)
Bachelor of Engineering (Telecommunications)
Information Technology
Bachelor of Computer Sciences (Software Engineering)
Honours degree of Bachelor of Computer Sciences
Mathematics/Sciences
Honours degree of Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences
Honours degree of Bachelor of Mathematical & Computer Sciences
Bachelor of Sciences (Honours) primarily in the discipline of Physics
Bachelor of Sciences (High Performance Computational Physics) (Honours)
Each scholarship is for $5,000 for one year of full time honours study.
The scholarship will be awarded based on academic merit as determined by the Grade Point Average of admission to the Honours program. The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered.
