
SA Water is providing three scholarships to students enrolled in any of the following programs at the University of Adelaide:
whose research topics are in the area of water quality and environment, water resource management, drinking water quality treatment or environmental management and impact.

These scholarships are part of a program to foster innovation in water-related research through strategic and applied research, and associated theoretical work. The scholarship also aims to cultivate a research culture in undergraduates in water-related disciplines at the University of Adelaide. Where possible, and subject to approval by the relevant school and supervisor, SA Water will work alongside the academic supervisor(s) and recipient(s) to provide a co-supervisor on their Honours project.
These scholarships are open to students who are Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia and are valued at $5,000 for one year. Selection will be made according to academic achievement, demonstrated financial need, technical knowledge and relevance of the intended thesis topic. Students applying should have an interest in the SA Water Graduate program.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need by providing supporting documentary evidence at the time of application, e.g. details of income tested Commonwealth income support payment, such as Youth Allowance, Austudy, ABSTUDY benefits, or other details of their financial circumstances.
