Rural Allied Health Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme

The Services for Australian Rural and Remote Allied Health (SARRAH) has been appointed by the Australian Government to administer the Rural Allied Health Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme (RAHUS).

The RAHUS Scheme is open to individuals with a rural background studying the following allied health disciplines:
Indigenous Health, Audiology, Chiropractic, Dietetics, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Osteopathy, Radiation Therapy, Medical Imaging, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Psychology (postgraduate level only), Social Work (AASW approved courses only), and Speech Pathology.

The Scholarship provides $10,000 per annum to assist students with accommodation, living and travel expenses for the duration of their studies.

Applications for the 2010 academic year open on 22nd September 2009 and close COB 2nd November 2009. No late applications will be accepted.
