The Charlie Perkins Scholarships

Due to the generosity of an alumnus of Oxford University, the Charlie Perkins Scholarship Trust is pleased to be able to offer one or two high achieving Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander undergraduates the opportunity to visit Oxford in mid-November 2011.

The Trust is seeking applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander university undergraduates (including those in their honours year) who have completed at least two years of their course of study and have the potential to become Charlie Perkins Scholars in the future - see http://www.perkinstrust.com.au/html/about.html for more details on the Charlie Perkins Scholarships to Oxford and Cambridge.

The successful applicant(s) will be chosen primarily on the basis of academic achievement (Distinction average or higher), but also on the basis of their potential to become leaders in their field of study and in their communities. Preference will be given to students in the final years of their undergraduate study.
