Australiasian Institute of Mining Metallurgy (AusIMM) Scholarships

The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (The AusIMM) established the Education Endowment Fund (EEF) to attract bright and able students to consider an academic course of study leading to a Minerals Industry career.

The EEF aims to achieve this by increasing students' awareness of the industry through the EEF Scholarship program and other education initiatives.

EEF Scholarships are available to students entering their final two years of study of an AusIMM recognised undergraduate degree at an Australian University. Details of AusIMM recognised courses are available at the AusIMM website.

All applicants must be Australian citizens or students with a permanent resident visa status.

The most outstanding scholarship winner/s will receive a Rio Tinto/Sir Frank Espie premium scholarship. This scholarship was generously endowed by the Espie Family, in memory of Sir Frank Espie. Sir Frank made outstanding contributions of leadership, dedication, and technical management to the mining industries of Australia and Papua New Guinea, and was a distinguished leading member of The AusIMM.
