D.A. Robertson Scholarship

This scholarship has been established by a bequest from the Estate of Viney Robertson in memory of her late father, Donald Alexander Robertson, who studied law at The University of Adelaide and graduated in 1934, as well as a gift from Rhona Margaret Seiler, the grand-daughter of Donald Alexander Robertson.

This scholarship is provided to support one student for the third and subsequent years of his/her undergraduate program, up to a maximum of two years. The scholarship is to benefit a student who is undertaking a program of study in the field of Law at the University of Adelaide and who is in financial need and provides $4,000 per year towards a student’s education/living costs.

This scholarship is open to students who are Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia and undertaking a Bachelor of Laws program of study at the University of Adelaide. Students should have successfully completed the equivalent of two full time years of the course and be continuing to undertake study on a full time basis as a Commonwealth Supported student.

Students must be able to demonstrate financial need and be able to provide supporting documentary evidence at the time of application, e.g. details of income tested Commonwealth income support payment, such as Youth Allowance, Austudy, ABSTUDY benefits, or other details of their financial circumstances.

Successful recipients will be selected according to academic merit and financial need.
