Defence Science & Technology Organisation (DSTO) Scholarships in Photonics

DSTO is offering a number of scholarships to students undertaking the Bachelor of Science (Optics and Photonics) program. These scholarships will provide financial assistance to students in meeting educational and living costs. Two scholarships of $2,000 are to be offered for students in the first, second and third year of the Bachelor of Science (Optics and Photonics) program (i.e. 6 scholarships in total) at the University of Adelaide.

In addition, one scholarship of $5,000 is to be offered for the Bachelor of Science (Honours) program in the area of Optics and Photonics for a student transferring from another institution to the University of Adelaide.

The DSTO scholarships are available to students who are Australian citizens and who are undertaking study on a full time basis at the University of Adelaide as a Commonwealth supported student.

Selection for this scholarship will be made according to academic merit.

Students entering level 1 of the degree of Bachelor of Science (Optics and Photonics) or the Bachelor of Science (Honours) will need to complete an application form for the scholarship. For other year level scholarships all enrolled students in that year level will be considered automatically.
