  • Two scholarships of $2,000 are to be offered for students in the second years of the above named degree programs at the University of Adelaide.
  • Two scholarships of $2,000 are to be offered for students in the third years of the above named degree programs at the University of Adelaide.
  • Two scholarships of $2,000 plus two $1500 project allowances to be offered for students in the fourth year of the above named degree programs at the University of Adelaide. The project allowances will be paid to the University and are to be allocated to materials required for a project that has been determined by DSTO to be relevant to radar or radar-related technologies.

Students enrolled in Double/Combined programs including the relevant degrees are also eligible to apply provided they have completed all of the requirements for the year level at which the scholarship is being offered.

These DSTO scholarships are available to Australian citizens or Australian Permanent Residents who are undertaking a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering or Avionics and Electronic Systems program of study on a full time basis at the University of Adelaide as a Commonwealth supported student.

Selection for this scholarship will be made primarily according to academic merit. Scholarships will be awarded to the highest performing students in the preceding year, which will be assessed having regard to the student’s cumulative Grade Point Average [GPA] for the preceding year/s and their stated interests.
