Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) Civil Engineering Scholarship for Rural StudentsThis scholarship has been established by the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI), a South Australian Government organisation that has diverse responsibilities in relation to transport system and services, energy policy and regulation, and infrastructure planning for South Australia.
The Scholarship provides an annual amount of $3,000 for up to four years to assist commencing students who are undertaking a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil & structural) or a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil & Environmental) program of study at the University of Adelaide. The recipient may undertake double degrees, as long as they remain enrolled also in either of the above programs of study.
Applicants should be prepared to attend an interview with the scholarship selection panel.
Selection for this scholarship will be made according to academic merit and with reference to applicants' statements regarding their career goals, their potential contribution to a public sector organisation, their community and leadership activities and academic and other achievements. Academic merit will be determined according to ATAR scores.
