The Ferry Scholarships

The scholarships are available to support two full-time country students in their first year of university study in the Physics or Chemistry fields of science. The Ferry Scholarships are open to students who otherwise will find it difficult to attend a metropolitan university due to financial reasons. The successful applicant must enrol in a degree course which could lead to graduation in a degree with a major stream in physics and/or chemistry.

Applicants must be Australian Citizens, under the age of 25 years and who are in the final year of secondary schooling in a public country school. High achievement in Physics and/or Chemistry is also a requirement.

The value of the scholarship is a $3,000 establishment grant (payable to the successful applicants upon confirmation of enrolment)
