The Governor-General's Indigenous Student Teacher Scholarship Program
The Governor-General’s Indigenous Student Teacher Scholarship Program aims to assist and support indigenous university students to obtain a teaching degree.
Scholarships will be awarded in 2010, 2011 and 2012 to one teacher education student from each state and territory. Students who have been successful in obtaining the scholarship will be awarded $25,000 per year, for up to four years, to assist with study costs.
