Indigenous Honours Scholarships

The University offers up to four University of Adelaide Indigenous Honours Scholarships to Indigenous students from South Australia each year.  Applicants for the scholarship must be undertaking an Honours program at the university as a Commonwealth Supported student and demonstrate financial need to be eligible.  These Scholarships will provide full fee remission and a payment of $4,000 to assist with education/living costs for the year of a student’s program at the University of Adelaide.

Scholarship applications will be assessed by a selection panel which will include the Dean of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Unit (Wilto Yerlo) or the Dean's nominee.

Selection will be made according to financial need and academic merit.

Scholarships will be offered to students who

  • Are Indigenous Australians; and
