Jacob's Creek Viticulture Scholarship

The Orlando Wyndham Group is providing $4,000 per annum, to support a student enrolled in the fourth and final year of a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Viticultural Science) degree at the University of Adelaide.

An initial payment of $2,000 will be paid during the second semester, fourth and final year of study. The second payment of $2,000 will be made after the final examination results have been confirmed. The recipient will also be given the opportunity to undertake industry experience with Orlando Wyndham Group at convenient times.

Applicants will be required to respond to 'mock' Position and Job Advertisements which will be created for the purposes of the scholarship only. Applicants must submit a letter of application and curriculum vitae. The letter of application must address all areas listed under 'Person Specification' in the Position Description.

Application kits will be available six weeks prior to the closing date from Dr Peter Dry. A panel comprising of representatives from Orlando Wyndham and the University of Adelaide will interview short-listed applicants. The successful applicant will be selected on the basis of their ability to demonstrate the attributes outlined in the Position Description. The successful applicant will be under no obligation to render any service to the University of Adelaide or to Orlando Wyndham Group Pty Ltd as a result of receiving this scholarship, except in so far as he or she is required to pursue his or her course as a full time student and to make satisfactory academic progress.
